Cost: Donation of cash or a new toy for a 4-6 year old
Cause: Toy Drive for Gladewater's Gay Avenue School (ages 4-6)
Due to the sucess of last years get together, Patty and I decided to do it
again. Because we are holding this in a City Park, no alcohol will be
permitted. Bring your family, ride your bike, and enjoy!! We are trying to
help out the community in which we live. There is a playground for kids to
play at the pavillion. All are welcome. No Attitudes and no weapons.

What is Gladewater's Gay Avenue School??
Its just the local elementary school (pre k, k, and 1st grade).
They pick the most underpriveliged kids at the school and make sure they
have a great Christmas. If people don't want to give toys, they also keep a
*clothes closet*, a place where if kids at the school need clothes, they can
get them. They use this for cases of fire, genereal lack of funds, or

Texas Bikers Bi-Annual Turkeyshoot--Pettibone, TX
The Texas Chisholm Trail Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club is cosponsoring the Texas Bikers Bi-Annual Turkeyshoot on Saturday, November 11, 2000. This is a charity event with proceeds to benefit the Child Alert Foundation to be used in the central Texas area. This is a one day, first time, event. We hope you can join us for a day of bikes, friends, and charity.

My name is Bonnie Kelley, I am a member of Southern Cruisers Riding
Club. I am holding a benefit for one of our members, W.L. Summers, as
he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. They cannot perform surgery,
due to the location of the cancer. W.L. has not worked in over a
year, and really needs our support as well as our prayers.
The benefit will be held Sunday, November 12, 2000. We will meet at
Cruisers (Santa Fe) at 10:30am. The first bike out for the poker run
at 11:00, last bike in will be at 3:00pm. We will also have a
barbecue, raffle, auction (donated items), live music, and much more.
Donations of any kind will greatly be appreciated.
